How do I pay?
M-Pesa, and what happens if the prompt does not arrive.
Payments
Payment is by M-Pesa. You enter the number to pay from, we send a prompt to that phone, and you approve it there.
The number is checked as you type. All four ways people write a Kenyan number work — 07…, 01…, 254… and +254… — and anything that is not a Kenyan mobile is refused before a prompt is sent.
If the prompt does not arrive within a minute or two, do not pay twice. Go back to your payments screen and check the status first: a payment that succeeded but was slow to confirm will appear there.
Nobody from Elevate will ever ask you for your M-Pesa PIN. Not on the phone, not on WhatsApp, not by email.
